Provence:              This item was purchased from The New Gallery 601 Madison Avenue, New York, New York on January 31, 1956. Markings on the items are the following: Inscribed “1510 Hemphill”

Footnote¹:             There is a receipt fully noted that this Collage Construction was lend out to the Andrew Grispo Gallery, 41 East 57th Street, New York, New York 10022, from March 7-April 1, 1989. There is a receipt label on the back illustrating that the item was lend out to the Brooklyn Museum on May 25th, 1984.

Robert Courtright (1926- ), American

Mr. Courtright was born in South Carolina, he studied at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, the School for Social Research and the Art Students League. His works are vastly exhibited by many Galleries and Private Collectors. Mr. Courtright continues to refined his works of art of the mannerism of Collage Construction to continue as the leader in the world of Art.
